We request that people do not bring/send flowers or gifts, but if you would like to give in some way, then please read on...
Corri was passionate about building the confidence, knowledge and skills of adults with autism and learning disabilities by means of a therapeutic farm-based programme. She cared deeply that some people struggled to access services that could help them move forward in their lives, because the Personal Budgets granted to them by the local authority were very low. Corri raised funds to ensure that adults on low (or no) Personal Budgets, could still attend FarmAbility's day service.
We have set up a fund in Corri's name - Corri's Fund - to enable more people to become regular 'co-farmers' at FarmAbility. Money raised and donated will ensure that adults with with autism and disabilities on low (or no) Personal Budgets can still access our day service. Corri's Fund will also help us to strengthen and expand the service we provide for our co-farmers. The fund will be managed within FarmAbility, which is now a programme of the
Farm Inspiration Trust (UK Registered Charity no. 1153282).
Simon, Corri's partner, is running the Paris Marathon on Sunday, 6 April 2014, to raise money for Corri's Fund.
